Meet your Hosts
Carri Richard
Carri Richard’s personal story has shaped her life and given her gifts beyond her wildest dreams. She knows some of life’s most precious gifts do not come in a pretty wrapped package. She has used painful experiences to transform her story into one of adventure, fun, amazement, prosperity, and significant, present, meaningful, fulfilling relationships.
Carri spent 24 years in high-tech as a thought leader and mentor to world-wide teams, helping companies around the world protect their data. A passion for community and team, she went after her dream of “bearing witness to God’s grace” and today is living that and lighting up for others the dreams within them.
“My attitude is my responsibility and it has and continues to shape my life into more than I can imagine.” Carri uses her experience and what she has been so blessed to learn to guide others to unearth and get to know themselves so they may be real and relate to the world. And it leads to a simple, no-nonsense, life with room for work AND PLAY.
Carri is passionate about the life she’s been given and her calling to guide others to a prosperous life of their desires and balanced in every aspect of their lives. You can have it all and she is an example that it is possible. She continues to do the work in her own life so she may continue to grow. Carri is invested in showing up 100% to guide you in doing the same with the understanding you can’t transmit what you don’t have.
Ebony C. Gilbert
Ebony C. Gilbert has had a passion for encouraging everyone in her path since childhood. Throughout the years, she has sought out opportunities to share stories of hope and offer grace to herself along the way.
Ebony began her career as a behavioral health professional over twenty years ago and has spent the past decade working on healthcare policies to advance the health of the underserved and uninsured. In various roles, she has supported whole-person, healthcare. Through partnership with state agencies and collaboration with community health providers, she has influenced change at multiple levels of government. Over the course of recent years, Ebony has shifted focus by seeking to influence change within herself by releasing guilt and replacing shame with grace, aimed at cultivating a life of joy and fulfillment.
Ebony proudly serves on the board of a large TN community-based clinic and supports multiple causes aimed at improving the quality of life for all.

Hear at the Heart Retreat

In July of 2021 I took the opportunity to spend 5 days on a mountain in North Carolina with Carri Adcock. I have known Carri for many years and have followed her continued journey as a coach, mentor, and intercessor. Making the decision to participate in this 5-day adventure has changed my life.
During our time away I was guided by Carri’s intentional practice of bearing witness. I witnessed aspects of myself that were blocking my progress as I evolve on my path of self-awareness. Her kind gentle insightful guidance during our time together as a group somehow melded the journey this chosen guest list was on; a group of 5 people from varied backgrounds, geographic regions, and life experience. The container she created allowed each of us to tap our inner strengths, sharing with one another. I was able to bring home essential tools necessary as I continue to follow in belief a plan that was designed just for me

All has been planned with the intention that when you arrive, the details are already taken care of. Lodging, meals, and activities are all included.
You are responsible for travel to and from the location.
You've made the investment - Just bring yourself!
